Rev. Claudia A. Silva is originally from Laredo, Texas. She was born on September 14, 1980 to Pastors Guadalupe & Dolores Puente and she has one sister, Sylvia C. Flores.

Pastor Claudia was born into a Christian and ministerial family, but made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 15. At this age, she began working as the Youth Leader of Templo El Buen Pastor A/G under the leadership of her grandfather, Senior Pastor, Guadalupe Puente, Sr. At the age of 22 she received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and this impulsed her to work even more with the young people at her church and the surrounding area. She served as part of the leadership of Laredo Network Youth Ministries for several years where she had the opportunity to touch the lives of many young people.

In 2003, her father became the Senior Pastor of Templo El Buen Pastor A/G and Pastor Claudia worked alongside her father helping him with the church. She served as Worship Leader, Youth Director and Administrative Assistant for the church until 2013. Pastor Claudia felt the calling of God upon her life at a young age, but it wasn't until 2007 that she had the opportunity to attend Bible School. She graduated with her certification in 2010 from Instituto Teologico Laredo, and in 2012 she received her credentials with the General Council of the Assemblies of God.

In August of 2013, she and Pastor David Silva got married and together they pastor the church that her great-grandmother, Paulita Cabello began over 50 years ago. It is their desire to see what God has in store for their ministry and church in this new season.
